The National Bureau of Economic Research has just shared a paper about the effects and longer-run economic consequences of pandemics.

In this paper, researchers measure rates of interest that were shaped by pandemics from Black Death in the 14th century Britain to H1N1 in 2009.

How did all real wages and the real natural rate of interest(especially in middle ages and colonial ages) shape economic order in European countries? And how did working classes and landlords answer all these consequences? You can get some impressions from this paper.

And then they give us a vision for the next decade in which we will see together I hope.
